Plan Iq 2.6.7
The next update of the popular iqPlanning software plan has been released. This complete overhaul includes six new reports to help teams get the most out of their time, including Estimates by Team, to-do Lists by Category, Budgeted Hours Tracker Report and two others that are still in development. iqPlanning planners will soon be able to track what team members are doing for each project. Mixing up your schedule to help you get distracted from tasks can lead to productivity problems. Not tracking individual activities could mean missing important information on how your team is spending time so you can make better decisions about their workloads. With iqPlanning 2.6. 7 users will be able to track their employee's progress on tasks, by providing estimates for how long each task will take, and the time already spent. The new Estimates by Team report lays out all of your tasks in order by team member. This allows you to see which members are behind on their commitments, and which are overbooked with other responsibilities. This makes it easier for managers to see what needs to be done next based on each team member's history of work. The to-do Lists by Category report shows all the outstanding tasks that have not been completed for a particular category that you have defined in iqPlanning . The Budgeted Hours Tracker Report is designed to let managers get an accurate picture of how much time their employees are committing. This can be helpful for scheduling purposes to ensure that company goals are being met. iqPlanning 2.6.7 also introduces several new methods for defining dependencies on tasks in the Task Manager window. These fields will allow users to dramatically reduce the time it takes to set up their schedules, while improving accuracy and consistency of their project plans. Details on these new features can be found in the user manual, which has been updated to provide full documentation on all of iqPlanning's features. All previous iqPlanning 2.x users will automatically be upgraded to iqPlanning 2.6.7 upon registration on the official website. Users who registered their iqPlanning 2.x version after December 12, 2006 will receive a free upgrade to version 2.6.7 once it is released in the spring of 2007 In business, time is money, and when companies fail to effectively manage their time they jeopardize profits and reputation, leaving them in a losing position in the market. In addition, there are countless benefits that can be derived from efficient use of time in a project that adds up into much more than simply less dissatisfaction with your work day associated with a lack of productivity .
